WATERING PLANTS

How to water your indoor plants?

As a cosmopolitan gardener you you need to maintain all your indoors plants alive.  In order to do that you need to do the following.

Check the planters your plants are in. They need to be in the correct size planters. Make sure the planter holds the plant well and the roots are well placed. The pots need to have a hole  to make sure the soil gets dry.  The saucer of the pot holds the water  and allows it to get the water thoroughly and hold the excess water.  Indoors plants have different water needs. Some plants need to stay moist all the time. Check the plant with your finger. If the dirt is not moist. It is time to water. Other plant need to stay dry like succulent plants need very little water.

Make sure you water the soil not the leaves. Keep the leaves dry. Wet only the soil. The plant will stay healthy. No bacterial and fungal infection. Water the plant evenly. The leaves Mirror the roots. Water the plant evenly. Water the plant until the water flows at the bottom of the pot into the saucer.

Give the plant enough water. But don’t overwater it. The plant root will rot if it is  too wet.

Plants  slow their grow in winter. Some plants will go dormant during the winter.  Many plants require less water. Watch the plant and see when the plant needs water. The indoor temperature is also very important to keep the plant healthy.  You could learn the temperature and humidity your plants need and create that environmental conditions.

Plants are great alive beings they are very resilient and grow well if you take care of them. Give them water and  watch them grow and enjoy them.
