I have had plants in my life, classroom, and home for a very long time.  I have learned to grow and take care of them. I love plants and have studied them
and learned a lot.  I enjoy gardening very much.  Now that I am retired I have more time to share my knowledge with you.

Having plants has given me joy and instilled patience in me. By documenting what I do I want to pass on the love I have for planting to you.
My goal is to inspire people to create a small or large garden anywhere or anytime. Plants are like us – resilient.  They adjust to many situations and survive.

In this website I also want to show my love for the environment, my desire to protect it, and, as a former teacher, fulfill my desire to teach.
Living in a place that has four seasons has made me realize we can use different seasons to our advantage and learn to grow plants and vegetables under many different conditions.
It makes me realize we live in a magical and productive place called EARTH.
