HOW TO MAKE PESTO

Pesto is a Italian sauce original from Geneva Italy which main ingredient is basil. Basil is an annual herb that grows well in the summer. You can even plant the seeds directly in the ground once the temperature is above 50 degrees.

As a cosmopolitan gardener you have grown basil and by now it is a big plant with big sweet leaves. They have a special smell. You can pick the leaves from the top and collect them and make a tasty pesto sauce.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

INGREDIENTS FOR PESTO.

2 cups of basil leaves, 3 pieces of garlic, 1/2 cup of oil, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of pine nuts salt and pepper to taste.
