DESCRIPTION

Peppers is the fruit of the vegetable. It comes in many colors green being the most popular but there are red, oranges, white, purple, and lavender. It is a culinary vegetable used in salads, soups, stuffed peppers, topping of pizzas and to make spice, It is very tasty and crunchy.

HOW TO GROW PEPPERS FROM SEEDS

Take the pepper seeds and soak them for 1/2 an hour in a 50/50 mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide. It is a way to avoid fungus and bacteria in the seeds. It will also soften the seed coats and makes easier to them germinate.

Take a medium container fill with seed starting sterile mix. Moist the soil before placing the seeds. Place 2 seeds in every container to make sure one of them germinate. Different varieties of peppers will take more time to germinate. You can start planting 2 months before the last frost date.

After the seeds germinate wait for the second set of leaves to come up in order to plant them in the ground or move them to bigger containers. Keep them in a sunny place. It will take 3 months to get ready to get ready to transfer to the ground or bigger containers. The stems will be tick and stocky the leaves will dark green and shiny. They will look robust. The roots will be bushy and well development.
