HOW TO GROW PEPPERMINT FROM SEEDS?

Take 6 inches wide 4 inches deep container fill it with fertilized soil. Mint prefers acidic soil. Water the container with soil until it is moist. Add the mint seeds. Add a layer of compost on top of the mint seeds. Water the container again. Keep the new plant moist all the time, never wet or dry.

Mint grows well in partial shade. Keep the temperature of the new seedling at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Mint plant will last well into the winter.

The seeds will germinate after 14 days. Keep watering until the new seedling is 7 inches high. Once it is that size it is time to transfer to a bigger container or to the ground. When transferring the new plant make a whole in the new container and remove the plant from the bottom. Take the new plant place it in the whole in the ground. It will continue to grow. It will take 2 months for the plant to be fully grown.

When the plant is 4 inches in height it is time to harvest the plant. You pinch the stem of the plant and take the leaves.

HOW ARE MINT LEAVES USED FOR?

Fresh mint leaves are used for tea, salads, as condiment for meats and poultries, side dishes, and sauces.

HOW ARE MINT OIL USED?

Mint oil is good for the headache, muscle pain, nerve, mint is a fast-growing perennial herb. it is known as an invasive herb. It can grow to be up to 3 feet tall. It spreads easily.
