As a cosmopolitan gardener you walk around the city. You see wonderful plants. There are beautiful plants all over the city. You admire the gardens. You find leaves on the ground or you take a cutting. You wonder if you can have that beautiful plant in your home or apartment. The answer is yes.

You also can have a big plant at home and it has over grown. It is time to take a cutting from the parent plant. It will help the plant to have some cuttings from it. It will take a few weeks for the roots to come out. It will grow soon enough. You will have a new plant. you can do this process with many plants and have your garden grow very cheaply.

Getting a plant from a cutting It is an ancient form of cloning. Growing plants from the parent plants is very good because it continuous to pass down its genetic information to its offspring. If you grow a a plant from a cutting it will grow exactly as the parent plant. Farmers usually do cloning to ensure that plants grow well and exactly s the parent plants.

How do you grow a plant from a cutting.

You get a leave with the stem from the plant you want to clone.

You place the leaf in a glass of water.

You wait for the leave to get roots. you keep the glass full of water.

Once the leave has roots you plant the leave with the roots crating a new plant.

Get a pot.

Add some dirt.

Put the leave with the roots in the pot.

take more soil and cover the roots.

Use some compost to the top at the plant.

Place the new plant near the window to have plenty of sun.

Watch the plant grow.

Enjoy the new plant.
