Basil grows in warm climates. However, it grows easily as perennial or biennial plant and as indoor plant everywhere. Basil is very sensitive to cold weather. You can grow basil in a small pot and keep it on the window silk. It requires to be watered very often. As long as it is warm and kept very moist. Water Basil 3 times a week. It grows well. Once it grows, you can cut the leaves and use them on different dishes.
It will take from 60 to 90 days to harvest Basil once you starts to grow the plant from seeds.
Soak the Basil seeds in water overnight.
Take a pot. Add some dirt.
Add some soaked Basil seeds.
Add more dirt.
Cover the Basil seeds.
Add some compost.
Place the new plant in the window silk. Water it daily. Watch it grow. enjoy it.
