FALL PLANTING

Summer is almost over. As a cosmopolitan gardener you have to start thinking what to do during the fall? You can plant another crop. This summer was a very hot dry summer. Plants didn’t produce as many vegetables as other summers. A fall crop will bring new fruits. Beets, carrots, broccoli, radishes, spinach, cauliflower. All of these vegetables can be planted in the Fall early September and you will get fruits by November. They like cool weather. They still need plenty of sun and have to be water often. You need to put some compost too. This year, You can try growing some of those vegetables in containers. Whichever, you choose these are the steps. If you grow vegetables in containers you will need to water them every day.
