HOW TO GROW OREGANO FROM SEEDS
Oregano is a perennial herb. It is used as a culinary herb and an ornamental plant. It is a small plant. It has a white flower. Oregano leaves are small. It is related to Marjoram. It is planted in early spring. Oregano likes hot dry weather, full sun, in dry soil, but it does well in many different environments. It is used for the flavors of it leaves. the leaves are also used when dry.
HOW TO USE THE SEEDS?
Take a container. Fill the container with starting soil 3/4 of the container. Press the soil down. It will get compacted. Wet the soil. Add water from the bottom of the container. Add a bunch of seeds on top of the soil. Soak the seeds before planting. Press the seeds with your thumb softly. Add some compost. Water the plant from the bottom. Place the seeds in a warm place. The temperature should be 75 degrees. Place the new plant in a sunny area. Watch it grow. Enjoy it.
HOW LONG IT TAKE TO GROW OREGANO?
Oregano takes 2 weeks to germinate. It grows very slowly once you plant it in the ground. When you start growing Oregano indoors you must wait 12 weeks before it goes outside. The plant has to have leaves before you plant it outside.
You can also grow in the middle of the summer You can do it in planters or in the ground directly. Chose a sunny place for planting Oregano needs full sun at least 6 hours of direct sun daily. Oregano also grows in the shade but it grows very slowly. Water Oregano plants once a week. They like their soil on the dry side.
