You can also create an organic spray to get rid of aphids. A table spoon of Neem oil extract and tablespoon castor oil dissolved in 2 gallons of water. Spray away and kill the aphids.
After 2 months the plants are 12 inches tall high and you can start harvesting the leaves. Cut the leaves at the bottom of the plant.
