How to grow dill from seeds in pots?
Dill is an annual herbaceous plant used in both for cooking and medicinal purposes.
Take a container with a hole in the middle. Fill the container with fertilized soil. Place the dill seeds on top of the container . Press the seeds gently. Add some compost to the container. Water the new plant until it is moist. Keep it moist all the time. Place the new plant in a warm sunny area. Dill needs 6 hours of direct sun daily, and it grows will when the temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Dill is consider a cool season herb. Grow at the beginning of the spring or at the end of the summer. It likes the soil somewhat acidic. Dill grows very nice in pots. Fertilize the Dill plant every 3 weeks. Watch the plant grow. Enjoy it.
You can harvest the leaves after 28 day after you planted the seeds. When harvesting Dill take the big leaves from the bottom of the plant. The leaves will continue to grow.
