WHAT IS CALENDULA

Calendula herb plant. It is a very good companion herb plant. It can be grown in every part of the garden, It attract many pollinators. They love calendula. It keep pest insects away. it is a good idea to grow in the edges of the garden or the containers. It is also known as pot marigold.

HOW TO PLANT GROW THEM FROM SEEDS

Pick a container fill it up with well drained soil. Place the seeds a 1/4 inch deep. it could start indoors a month before planting outside. Cover the seeds with a layer of compost. The seeds will germinate after two weeks. Calendula prefer full sun but it does well in cool weather. It tolerates cold climate down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Plant them in cool months of fall and early spring.
