Cabbage a thick shinny leafy green, red, purple and even white fragrant annual vegetable. It is very rich in nutrients, and vitamins. It can be eaten raw or cooked. It is used in many dishes: soups, salads. It can be stuffed, and stir – frying and boiled pickled and fermented.

HOW TO GROW THEM FROM SEEDS
Fill a container with seed starting mix soil. Add the cabbage seeds 2 seed per container. Place the seeds 1/2 inch deep down. Press the seeds gently. Cover the seeds with a layer of compost. Water the containers very gently. keep the containers moist all the time. Place them in a sunny place with 6 to 8 hours daily.
GERMINATION
The seeds will germinate after 20 days. The seedlings will start to grow slowly. Leaves will start appearing. When each seedling get to be 6 inches tall and has at least 4 leaves it is time to place in large containers or in the ground.
tRANSPLANTING
Place the new plants in 10 inches wide pots. Use a mix component of compost and soil. Fill the container with the new soil. water them place them in a sunny area. Plant each new plant in the middle of the new container. The cabbage plant will continue to grow after 2 months in the new pot the big leaves will start to form a ball. The ball will continue to grow. keep watering the plant. Keep it moist all the time.
HARVEST TIME
After 80 days the cabbage head is big enough. It is time to harvest it when the head is well formed, firm and is 5 to 6 inches big. Cut the head from the steam. It has large shinny green or purple thick leaves. It is delicious. Enjoy them.
