HOW TO GROW ANISE FROM SEEDS

The anise plant flowers from July to November. The flowers are clumps of small white flowers. The plant has a licorice scent. It is part of the parsley family.

Take a container an add germination soil. Fill it to 3/4 of the container. Add the seeds. Cover the seeds with layer of compost. Cover them with a plastic cover. Anise loves the sunny place. Place the anise plant in a very sunny area and keep it moist. It can tolerate dry weather. Keep the temperature of the soil 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The PH of the soil range between 6 and 7.

Plant Anise directly in the ground. They don’t like to be transplanted because it has a long taproot. It has green pointed shaped leaves with toothed edges that grow opposite to each other.
