It can also be used as an ornamental plant. It likes full sun, and well drained sandy soil. It has dark green leaves and small flowers. This herb could grow to 18 inches tall. This perennial would last up to 3 years. It can tolerate temperature down to 10 degrees.

Pick a container fill it up with soil and a layer of compost. Add the seeds on top of the container. This herb seeds need to light to germinate. It will take 14 to 20 days to germinate. The soil temperature is between 65 degrees and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep the plant moist all the time.
